I'm... Back?

It would seem as though I had to be here first before I could return, which barely seems the case. But alas, I have finally decided that with nothing but time on my hands (I am at the mercy of unemployment), I should make an effort to shower the world with the droplets of liquid insight from the fountain of wisdom that I sometimes feel like my brain can be likened to.

Deluded, you ask?

Heck yes.

But it's keeping you reading.

So are these spaces between my paragraphs. I could make it seem like I've written tons without actually saying anything, really.

But that's a waste of space, and my resolution in the new year was to be digitally ecological. No wasting of precious internet space, we need that for viruses and porn.
I would, however, like to offer a little pollution in the form of my scribbles and paint marks. Sometimes, when I have motivation, I like to make pretty paintings, and for the same reasons that paintings sometimes go unfinished, nobody ever sees them. SO, since very few people see this blog as it is, I figure I'll just post maybe a painting/unfinished work a day or so. I'm always welcoming SERIOUS, and harsh as it may be, critique. All works are, unless otherwise specified, for sale at yours and my discretion pricewise. After all, a deadbeat such as myself has to live too. Therefore, my prices are often very reasonable, and sometimes very minimal.

My main aim is to spread the art around, not build an empire. We all have to get by, but I'd be much happier knowing that artworks are going towards clients I feel are going to display them with pride, and appreciate them as bits of my feelings instead of just weird wall-pieces.

That being said, sometimes they DO get a little weird, and if you have questions, I'd be glad to field them to the best of my ability.

I would like to dedicate my Blog re-awakening and newfound confidence to my wife-in-training, whose blog I have just had the pleasure of redesigning. GO check it out at http://littlegoldlemons.blogspot.com. She's a brilliant little cutie with lots to say, and she will absolutely love and appreciate your attention. I will also be redesigning THIS blog soon, so hers doesn't look such a shit-ton better than mine. Don't worry bb, I'll still keep it less interesting. ;)

Update: Almost finished work on layout. Not gonna complicate things too much.

Sooooooo... Here's the piece of the day!

compulsive behaviour, hot dogs, frustrations, photoshoot.

There's something very sobering about realizing how much more comfortable you are paralleling your inner monologue to an electronic interface rather than actual people. This way, the people don't have faces, and I don't have to take any responsibility for burdening them with my thoughts; that was their own silly choice. If you are inclined in any way to do so, you can leave me input as to how good you would would rate that personal choice. I'll probably put-out some output, and it will all form a lovely little cycle whereby I continue to neurotically record my thoughts, fueled by my insatiable desire for yooour attennnnntion.

Welcome to my blog, ladies and gentlemen. The colours were inspired by a hot dog with mustard. But not the bun. I'd like to thank a few people who made this all possible: Jenny, my lovely wife... We aren't married, but we have a cat together, so the differences are few... "Pete", from Pete's. His real name is Jeff, a.k.a. Baldy, the poutine journeyman. "Screamin" Stephen W. Hawking; it's been real, buddy... G. Love and Special Sauce; can I get a cold beverage?

So more to the point, I'd like to begin with a disclaimer that I can be a very frustrated person at times, so there's a chance that this may not read like Jane Austen for the most part. This very well may become my outlet for every thrusty stab I'd like to take at things that, for the most part, are entirely unstabbable. It seems much easier to simply complain to the internet rather than stew about something that's making me stabby.

Idea for photoshoot 1: Small room, blanket drop.. Chocolate brown, probably velvet. Model A dressed in teal nylon jumpsuit w/ peacock feathers. Model B has a tiara, and is a tiger. Model A is holding a landmine (fake or disarmed, preferably), and looking quite rattled. Model B looks like a tiger, and it's all good. Probably smoke. Depth of field shots w/ landmine. Model A rides Model B. More landmine; try w/ tiger. Queue midget.

Aaaaaand. That's a wrap..!?
